You Love Me

You love me...

Because you do, the birds sing sweeter

Than they ever did before

And I find that waking up each day

Becomes a treasure, not a chore.

You love me...

Because you do, I'm drawn to you

As a flower to the sun

And when I count my blessings

I find I'm never done.

You love me...

Because you do, I hear music

All around me every day.

My time is spent in sunlight.

The skies are never gray.

You love me...

Because you do, I have laughter

Where before I had been sad.

You fill my days with happiness.

Of our future, I am glad.

You love me...

Because you do, I'm smiling

And to God I do give praise

That He gave us to each other

To travel through life's maze.
